Mar-lezé graduated in 2017 from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Before opening her own practice and training studio, she spent nearly two years working in Auckland, New Zealand, where she gained extensive experience in an outpatient practice, treating a variety of sports injuries, back and neck conditions, and sport rehabilitation. Prior to her time in New Zealand, Mar-lezé worked in a hospital-based physiotherapy practice in Gauteng, further expanding her expertise.
Her participation at national level athletics, tennis and provincial hockey tournaments schooled and directed Mar-lezé towards her profession and passion for human movement and rehabilitation. Mar-lezé has previously been the team physiotherapist for New Zealand regional hockey teams as well as South African provincial athletic teams.
Outside of work, Mar-lezé enjoys staying active with CrossFit, jogging, ultimate frisbee and playing padel and golf on the weekends. She is energetic, driven, and fully committed to guiding her clients toward healthier lifestyles, helping them navigate their journey to optimal movement and well-being.
Janet is the newest member of our team, bringing a diverse set of experiences and a strong
background in physiotherapy. A graduate of SMU, Janet completed her community service in
Worcester, Western Cape, where she gained valuable experience in orthopaedic care and
surgical rehabilitation, including both pre-op and post-op stages. She also worked in an
outpatient clinic, assisting with rehabilitation after surgery or injury.
Before and during her studies, Janet worked part-time as a personal assistant for an Optometrist
and as an Au pair, both roles helping her develop excellent interpersonal skills and a comfort
level with children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. Janet also spent two years in the USA,
where she expanded her horizons and worked with children and families in diverse settings.
Janet is passionate about travel and giving back, which led her to volunteer at the Paravolleyball
South Africa training camp and the Jackson Physiotherapy Clinic in Virginia, USA. An avid
sportswoman, she played volleyball both for her Russian school team and her university team,
and she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, running, cycling and squash. Janet's
adaptability and wide-ranging experiences make her a versatile and valuable addition to the team
